  4. Enter the code given below and tap the return key. Enter the password if necessary.

Note: Replace Macintosh HD in the command line with the name of the main boot drive if you have some other boot drives.

  1. Close the terminal app and restart the Mac

  1. Enter the password if asked to enter.
